Each year group has adopted a tree in the School grounds. You will visit your tree several times throughout the academic year. You will become more familiar with the local environment and be able to identify trees using their leaves.

Which seasons were these photographs taken in? How can you tell? Why do we have seasons?
Notice the different shapes of the trees.
Does your tree have any seeds or fruit? What do they look like? How are they dispersed?
What does the bark look like?
Are they deciduous or evergreen trees? How do you know?
Some leaves are missing. Try and find out what they look like.
